I'm posting this a few hours earlier than anticipated due to LiveJournal's scheduled downtime (8:30PM October 29th to 12:30AM October 30th PST). Late entries for prompt 002 will be accepted for the next 24 hours and included in the next prompt post.

This prompt was also chosen with Halloween in mind, but, as ever, you are free to interpret it as you wish. :D
